I ordered a chef salad with fried and grilled chicken. I noticed a funny taste about the grilled chicken. I realized it was store bought grilled chicken that is already cooked (with the fake grilled marks). I've purchased this chicken before so I know that awful taste. The salad was good once I took the chicken off. I called the restaurant to ask if it was bagged chicken and they denied it. I wasn't calling to ask for money back, but to let them know that the grilled chicken is nasty!
I love their chef salad I usually would get one at least twice a week sometimes more depending on my weekly schedule. Their lemonade is great to so is the buttermilk pie its the best in town. I love Mike & Eds I tell everybody to eat here reasonably priced and great food. Can't wait until the Phenix City location opens back up I'll be first in line..
I usually eat a lunch of BBQ chicken plate & tea. Been perfect and delicious every time...EVERY time. Yesterday 20 minutes before close, I ordered my company party catered (for pick up). Even during Memorial Day, they saved my event and all raved how tasty it was. More than generous amounts and we all ate our fill. Plenty left for my team to snack on this week too.
The staff is always so friendly here. The food is always so great as well. The front is very clean even on busy days! Never had an order messed up or anything with this business!
Very good food! 4 people (fluffy people) ate and took home leftovers for 42 bucks. Two plates were the hungry rib plate. A chicken finger dinner and a bbq sandwich with fries.
